Hi, I need someone to carry out some little work on my website. I too know asp and ms-access but i dont have time. i have to complete some college assignments. My site has hit top ten last month and before it goes down i want to implement some traffic building measures so that i can cash-on on my ranking. you can see my website here. I have done all the progarmming myself. In return i cannot pay money as i dont own a credit card instead i will give you space on my site. One link of your choice and you may put whatever you want on the linking page. the link and page will obviously on my site. I will also put your name or your organisations name on every page at the bottom of the page. I need to incorporate these things: 1. A blog (i had downloaded it on my site but it has to be debugged) 2. I want to secure my download page ( i will tell you how it is to be done ) 3. I need to send a welcome mail once someone registers on my site 4. I need to verify the user ( I have worked it out only coding is wanted ) 5. Upon verification the user will recieve code to get to download page 6. An index page (i.e rt now there is no home page insted it is an redirect to my offer) 7. A one time offer page, after the user registers to get his free gift. ( i will give you 60% of whatever the revenue is generated from this page) I am also planning to do a give-away event if everything falls in line. i guess that will be helpful. anyways, this is how i have planned verification and access control on my website. a user registers, he gets a random code on his email. to confirmm he has to visit the confirmation page and give code and email address. this will be matched against database and then again given a code to access download page. how to control downloads here, using a database. he will be given a code everytime he wants to download.
Could you please write me your db structure for downloads.... Maybe you'll need a new table to keep track of what you want
