    I'm just curieus how many people have encountered problems
    with Windows Vista ?

    Due driver problems, program problems, ....
    and all the rest ...

    I never encountered any problems regarding drivers with Vista before, maybe because all the stuff I use is new and vista compatible.

    Vista is not as bad as everyone says it is. It's quite great once you use it a lot.

    I did never used windows vista. But I heard some rumors that it is not good in gaming, although I have never tried it I am satisfied in the performance of windows XP.

    When I bought my laptop, it is actually come pre-installed with Vista so I never had any problem with the driver or any kind of stuff. But the major issue is actually speed alone.

    problems iv had where that the OS refused to install or uninstall software.. links on the start menu failed to work and reported unresolveable errors, and if i accessed the Control panel, explorer.exe crashed (start bar etc) all after restoring the os to its original state .. settled for a new free copy of windows from ms in the end that resolved the issue.. i presume it was a corrupt disc or something along those lines
