Yes, using 2007, and although it's real good with indexing and all, I hate the new format (docx, xlsx).
I currently use Office 2007 Professional and enjoy it however if you're wanting something more basic and easier to get around, I would suggest Office 2003 easily. Just like some people prefer Windows XP than Vista etc. But then again, it's all dependent on personal choice. - A
Not even 2007 has captured the market Microsoft has planned to launch OFFICE 14 (likely to be named Microsoft Office 2009) by this or next year The release of Office 14 and related products is expected to occur as early as the end of next year: Will this rock as Office 2007 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Office_14 http://arstechnica.com/journals/mic...osoft-office-14-to-arrive-late-2009early-2010
to be honest I use to be a complete windows xp fanboy and I tried 2007 and felt it was to much like vista and reverted back to 2003 but it turns out that I was just scared of upgrading and now I use both vista and 2007 you should give it a try before judging it.
Word 2007's UI is too clumsy and confusing. Word 2003 was much better and the options were easily accessible. I started using Word 2007 in another computer and I immediately realized this is not for me.
I use Office 2007 and have since it came out and haven't had an issue with the new UI. Sure it's different than the old one but I think it's more intuitive then the previous versions and I've noticed other programs adopting the same sort of interface.
Took me a while to get familiar with the interface. But now I'm comfortable with Office 2007 and I think it's much better than Office 2003. - Dynashox -
I prefer office 2003 for some reason, I mean 2007 is great and all... but I don't own a copy of that(I really don't wanna buy it yet) lol.
