Life should be about the pursuit of happiness, my plan is to achieve this. To a large degree I have succeeded in this endeavor. My ulimate goal is to become a good enough soul, so that when I die I may be deemed worthy to join my creator.
Ofcourse I have plans.. Some are bigger, some are smaller, everyday, but lifelong plans are the best. They can fill you and keep you go further in your life.
5 years ago I had the perfect job, at least that what I was thinking then. Great salary, car, many employees under me who preformed the best... Then the company decided to bring someone that will give the young managers a few days course "how to be a better management". At some point the trainer said: "You should think where you would like to be in 10 years from now, and you should ask yourself, what are you doing today to be there in 10 years?" 3 months after I resigned my job I became self employed and worked on my own product which was sold after additional 4 months. I still didn't reach my goal. However, I learned that you first need to define a goal. Then you should do anything which needed to reach it. On the other hand, remember that goals could be change from time to time and failure is part of reaching your goal
I think everyone has goals and things they want to achieve, life wouldn't have meaning otherwise and it keeps us focused. Like the above post though I think from time to time it's important to stop and re-evaluate to ensure we're still heading towards where we want to be.
