Well... I have to say NO right now. I took their ads off my main site for now. I'll wait to see if this next payment goes through, how much they took from me this time, and weigh using them again.

I still have them on a couple smaller blogs I own... but Im not giving up the space to something that SUPPOSEDLY is only getting 2-3 clicks a day, when all the other ads on my site pull at least 50-60 clicks a day. --Something does NOT add up there to me. I thought it would level out over time, but it just seems really off to me for it to be THAT low-- especially since I do have similar ads that have been clicked on tons of times.... So, as time goes on, I am growing suspicious

    I prefer "Chiquita"

Chitika has missed its chance and lost reputation.:)
The way they handle their business is not decent.
Guess they have a maximum of six month left before dissapearing into a black hole.

Yes, I have faith in them.

They have already paid me twice so the program is definitely not fraud. What does concerns me is that my average earnings on Chitika continue to drop - mainly because advertisers aren't paying as much anymore I guess.

It's a total missmanagement they show, - not organized, - no style, business ethnics etc..
You can have the best scripts or programs, but without proper management it wont work.
The funny thing is they don't even provide a link to advertise with their service, what kind of secrecy is that?
Where do they get their advertisers from?
    Think about it.

They primarily use shopping.com as seen in their press releases, FAQs, and blog. If you go to shopping.com you will see that most of the individual stores advertising products are the same as those you receive in chitika ads.

    Hey, that's interesting.
I've never really used them, but why is that?
Did they stop paying or something?

Honestly I would not touch Chitika with a 10 foot pole.

    1) It is in beta. I got over random beta software years ago. There is no way in hell I would trust my income to a beta product from an unknown company.
    2) They designed a PPC ad that has non paying clickable elements... um seriously WTF. What kind of understanding of the PPC business do they have?
    3) They didn't make the audit aspect clear enough. People got in and didn't understand what their stats meant. Maybe that is the fault of the individual webmaster, but I feel that it would have been a good faith effort by Chitika to make it very clear.
    4) They have a lucrative referral program that people are pimping in their sigs and sites. This makes 3rd party info about the program suspect.

I am sorry for those of you would got the shaft - however disparaging an entire country is not acceptable.

I agree, people should take caution when using any beta program. Especially one that you derive income from. However I will still try these new programs to see how well they will work. I just won't put all of my eggs into one basket.
I do not believe you are correct. They did change the ad units to remove some elements that used to be clickable, but they never left anything clickable that didn't produce revenue. (Supported countries issue aside.) By "clickable" I mean clicking on something that takes you to a different website.
I think it is because people starting making lots of money with Chitika and then got lots of hype. Lots of people quickly joined after hearing "getting rich quick" stories and didn't wonder what "unaudited revenue" was or read the FAQs. Double digit percentage differences between audited an un-audited revenue were even cited in Darren's blog back in September. I think many people just got caught in the hype and didn't pay attention.

When I joined in September I quickly saw the info about "unaudited revenue", read the FAQs, and figured that between fraudulent clicks and traffic from unsupported countries I would loose about 20%.
