    Just wondering ..

I have invented an ideas/solutions for some critical mission, and submit it to one company, and it's worth of billion company, decided to try that company 1st and if they reject, i will move to another 2 giants, what i just wondering here, can we trust that company?? we submit the ideas, but not the source of that solutions, that big companies have a lot of resources to develop the solution that is come from our ideas, yes we invite partnership, but i just wondering if they just think, it's better to just develop the solutions on their own rather than partnering with us, steal our ideas and use it to change how the world is rolling, if that's happen, what could we do?? Do you trust them ??

My answer: don't trust them! When it comes to huge profits the morality will be a secondary problem for a big company.

In my opinion the solution for you is to copyright your ideas/inventions before presenting them!

tell some one who you know closely or a trusted person,
giving away idea to a stranger might not help, company reputation might be good, but what about the person operating it.

If you Patent it first... then you're good. If not, you gonna get screwed. And if you truely can't scrape together the funds (unless in some circumstances), that generally means you dont believe in it enough to patent it.
