I think, dogs are my favorite. I have a Pomeranian dog "CoCo" that is such a sweet little angel. In addition, I do have several cats but never went anywhere to adopt any. It's like I'm this magnet for stray, hungry animals - they always find me. I've volunteered at the Dept of Wildlife for orphan baby seals, and would feed them fish slushies. Once a third party told me about a red eared slider turtle in deplorable conditions, and I ended up taking him in until I found someone with a pond. He was a character, and ironically could run very fast when out of the water. I can't count how many baby birds I've taken in to attempt to release back in the wild. I smuggled out two research rats out of a lab, and kept them for years. Rats are very smart. In addition, I lived on a farm - my responsibility was to bottle feed calves. They had so much personality, after feeding them, often I would take them out of their pens. It sound weird, but we would play tag running back and forth across the yard. But, yeah, I love animals a lot.
My favourite pet is my Alligator, although at the moment he has really pissed me off after he ate my Penguin.
