Statistics can come as a nice tool if you put Google AdSense on them sites. As an advantage, domains will start "aging" and will eventually get good PR that will raise their PageRank. Besides, the more I move my domain to generic content based site rather than having them parked @ Sedo, the more income I am recording. So it proves to be a good move afterall...

Wouldn't that get expensive to have hosting for them all?

Not really. With multiple domain hosting that can get a low as 6.99 (maybe even lower, don't know that) you get tons of webspace, enough to host tens of domain names. Domain maintenance has become affordable nowadays, that's why I see parking services becoming more and more inconvenient.

Hosting is very cheap, if you do some research. Buying domains is more expensive.

Actually, I'm pretty happy that the thread has gone in this direction.

I'm working on a few generic content sites, and want to start aging the domains. Mainly to get them out of the Sandbox and ranking while they are just sitting around.

I've seen that Hostmonster.com will allow you to host an unlimited amount of domains... are they decent, or does anyone have any other recommendations?

Also, when I'm looking for the end all be all host (or maybe I'd keep them there)... Is there a disadvantage to hosting a site as an add-on domain (in a sub folder)? Would still be www.thedomain.ccm, but didn't know if this would hurt the SEO and thus rankings?

    Thanks for your post, Clive.

There's nothing wrong with hosting add-on domains. Even if you're having each new domain hosted in a subfolder, well that's how it is with most, if not all hosting packages. If you need quick content that should earn both PR and adsense revenue, drop me a PM, also see my signature for tips.
