I am considering one for karting, what are your recommendations for some good value for money? Thanks!
I'm sorry I thought this was about a different kind of helmet. I am possibly thinking about buying a helmet cam for my fire fighting helmet. The full kit though is right about $170.
I don't have a helmet cam, but I do have various cameras that I use on my RC planes. Have you though about making one yourself using a small digital camera? I bought a cheap Nikon L10 that is small enough to go on my planes - so something like that could easily be stuck onto a helmet.
Wow, some cool ideas in this thread! Kerosene, I think that I saw some of your vids a while ago, very cool! FFTEX, I am looking forward to seeing some of yours too! alan, do something! Anyway, do you guys know about any vids/tutorials to look into making my own? It could be interesting, assuming that there are no safety restrictions...
Actually it is! Seriously, if you know of something that could give me more detailed info and suggestions, please let me know...
If you can find a "5in1 eDVR" usb stick - buy one. The video quality isn't fantastic, but they weigh next to nothing, and they're TOUGH. They're small enough to go on a Mini-Z
Actually, that's exactly the type of cam I was looking for, after some research. To be more precise, I was looking for a decently priced mbxcc pocket cam 3, but I can't find it, at least for now. Thanks! Anybody knows where to get these inexpensively?
Yeah, can't find it. The only place is the spy stuff website, but it's out of stock and $120. Let me know if someone comes across one, thanks!
Found this on an RC forum: http://www.gorillabobsrc.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=30&products_id=96 It's identical to the one I've got. $89.99 - not a bad price. I paid apx $130 AUD about 4 years ago for mine.
Yeah, it's good and might work for me, but I want to see if I can find this other one first. Thank you so much for your time! Greenies on their way!
