I have a buddy of mine, that when we go out, he always insist on me paying first. when I buy a round of beer, it takes him forever to buy. He always says I'm not thirsty right now.weak. Or when we go to the movies he tries to drop me off at the box office to get tickets so we won't be late while he parks the car. When I buy him a drink he orders a mix drink. When he buys he orders us two regular beers. He is such a cheap son of a gun. Every time I went out with him, it was an act of god for him to pay for anything. NO wonder his wife sleeps in another room! We are still freinds, but I don't go out to bars and movies, or baseball games anymore because I would get so pissed off before I even went out. knowing what was going to happen. We go to parties, but that is it. Does anybody have freinds like this? Let me know what you did or do now when this happens repeatedly.
If he is just a companion you can avoid going with him, but if you consider him to be a close friend you cant let go for such a reason, then its time you should let him know of his cheapskate ways! One negative thing paves way to build many! Discuss with him/her. Who knows he might even respect your thoughts! I have a friend who suffers from bad body odor, instead of avoiding the company I presented a deodorant and told point blank that she needed one!
