PPC never works, but I guess that's how Google makes their fortune.

 

PPC does work, just because it hasn't worked for you doesn't mean it doesn't works. You just have to be smart and patient and not bid high amounts on stupid keywords.

 

I'd definitely go with PPC

I would diversify and keep close track on the testing to see where your money site is producing income from

Then expand on your biggest 3-winners

Never put all of your eggs into one basket.

Spend time in keeping good books ... ROI is king

Hmm call me crazy but, in my opinion spending 10k on ppc is a waste of time. With 10k period, i could hire a small group of good writers and have them write: articles, blog posts, press releases, blog comments, forum posts.

Imagine if you could get 20 blog posts every single day, in your niche on your blog. and then on those 20 blog posts you have a team of writers writing articles pointing to it, press releases pointing to it, blog comments pointing to it, forum posts pointing to it.

I think some of you have missed the ball.

PPC may be a nice source of advertisement, but web 2.0 is superior to it, hands down. hell with a group of writers I could be viral in a week.

and you can get writers on the cheap, for 10k can you imagine how much they could write?
