Am I the only one who does not have a strong opinion in either way. I have some problems with them, but in general I have learned to work around them so I seldom have problem anymore. Which mean that I have not any reason to hate them!
dude, check out my previous posts before quoting me...infact, i`ve been the one who made the point more clear to the OP regarding the difference between "not" loving & "hating" something....
i neither hate nor love them, i just treat them like any other of the big giants out there - it wouldnt hurt for them to lower the cost of the software a bit though
I hate Microsoft, but I don't hate Bill Gates. In fact I think I quite like him... especially what he and his wife did in Africa with the malaria immunisation campaign for kids. But Microsoft have made so many selfish and/or bad decisions as a company that have detrimentally affected the web - I can't help but hate them for that and it outweighs the good things they have done, in my opinion.
I can't understand you people. You say you hate them, but 70 % of you here are using their software, including Windows, Office and all other stuff. Also, their gaming console (xbox) is one of the best. And their games are very good too. This is only the software part. About hardware, they are pretty good too. Webcams, printers, computers... Maybe the reason is that they own MSN, and you maybe like Google. NO, I don't hate them.
No i also dont hate Microsoft! bcoz i m using their products for about a decade even many of us using also! I m just looking any major change in Future OS
Their products infuriate me very often, but I am glad to have them. Hate them? No. Why would I hate them?
From the article above, here's information about the companies the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation invests in: Companies ranked among the worst U.S. and Canadian polluters, including ConocoPhillips, Dow Chemical Co. and Tyco International Ltd. • Many of the world's other major polluters, including companies that own an oil refinery and one that owns a paper mill, which a study shows sicken children while the foundation tries to save their parents from AIDS. • Pharmaceutical companies that price drugs beyond the reach of AIDS patients the foundation is trying to treat. For example: A new version of Kaletra, an AIDS drug, does not require refrigeration and would work great in Africa. The Nigerian government, which gets money from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria has been awarded $651 million by the Gates Foundation. Yet the hospital does not offer the new Kaletra. It is too expensive. In August, private pharmacists said they could sell it for $246 a month. Kaletra is made by Abbott Laboratories. As of this September, the Gates Foundation held $169 million in Abbott stock. In 2005, the foundation held nearly $1.5 billion worth of stock in drug companies whose practices have been widely criticized as restricting the flow of key medicines to poor people in developing nations.
I don't hate them because it's a big company but because of all the monopol they started with from the very beginning. It complitely ruined everything. Btw, not even Bill Gates finds at Microsoft download section xD
