I absolutely hate it when you take about 5-10 minutes writing a massive and helpful reply to a member that has lots of great info in it and then someone else comes along and posts in your thread and says the exact same thing but summarizes what you said into a few sentences. Does anyone agree with me, it had happened roughly 5 times in this week alone.
Such irony in this forum It often happens in many forums with a lot of active users. Someone will hit click reply before you.
its called repetition, you'll make a nice informative post, then noobs come along summarizing what you already said to increase their post count. i'm guilty of it as well just not recently as i know better and i also know the consequences.
I personally dont like that i write a post, perhaps a really good one, and while im writing it some one has posted an answer already. Thats the problem in large forums, but i aint complaining
It's obvious what you should do. Stop helping others We aren't here to win popularity contests. A helpful mentality is it's own reward, even if no one recognises it.
