Do you guys think there will be .fb in the future?

I've seen many extensions like .cc .co etc. and people started to get confuse. But do you think there will be .fb standfrom Facebook in the future? I think is easy to remember and come up in mind more than .co or .cc or any others dot. I'm sure it would be same exclusive as .com. What do you guys think?

Maybe if a country with the letters "f" and "b" in its name requested one. I think two-letter TLDs are only for countries.

FaceBook is planing to register the .facebook in the near future.

.FB will always be non-existent because there is no such country.

.CO is more easy to spell and to remember then .FB.

How do you pronounce FB? Dot-eeph-bee?

    Personaly, I hate facebook

No. And if so, it will not be related with facebook, but it will belong to a country.

Interesting thought. I think facebook should stay where it is. Inside it's own territory. But knowing how powerful they are, I'm sure they could come up with some way in case they wish to get their exclusive domain.

I dont think we have to wait for the future, with a community of 500+ million I think its hard not to call them major player in whatever market they want.

I dont think there will be a .fb because two-letter TLDs are only for countries as far as I know.

I dont think there will be a .facebook because they have already spent millions on branding FaceBook.com. And be honest what one sounds better FaceBook.com or FaceBook.FaceBook ? I know I would go for FaceBook.com every time.

It just wouldn't be worth what they would have to spend on branding to make it a good business decision. But if they wont it they will get it.

ROFL, two lettered domain name extension are only for countries. So unless FaceBook buys a country and renames it as FaceBook it's not going to happen.

I rather see .go for google before .fb -- seriously that makes no sense and i dont think anything like that happening.

    PS: I hate facebook.
