Hey guys I have some landing pages for some affiliates I'm running
I don't use Adwords to promote'em what do u guys think if I put Adsense on them for some extra bucks?
I mean some people are not converting so why not getting some ppc cash back by using adsense??
What's your thoughts? and how Google is going to think bout this?
P.S : All my landing pages have some content on them

IMO, it depends which way you want to go. I believe your conversions might lessen if you gmonetize those pages, since Ads are always a turn-off.

I'd keep them off. For a couple of extra dollars from PPC, you'd get more conversions anyway.

Define "landing page." For me, the "landing page" could be any page on my site. People can get to the home page or if they visit via a search engine, they may "land" 5 levels down. If I took Adsense off of all my "landing pages" I would have no Adsense.

The theory suggests having adsense on landing pages will reduce clicks to the affiliate.

what qwest and thn87 said are right...u're gonna lose affiliate clicks because
    a) it looks unprofessional so less people will "trust" what you're selling
    b) u're selling a potential commission for a few cent click

if your affiliate lander is doing so poorly u need to stick adsense on it, try changing the lander, affiliate, or both.

I have adsense on alot of pages I do ppc campaigns for but not if the landing page was specifically made to convert for a specific affiliate that would be counter productive.

    No, I don't.

Putting adsense on your landing page may take away from you potential sales as the user may see a nice link they want to check out with your adsense advert and bam. They are out of your site and you just lost a sale for a few cents.

what he means by the landing page is the front page (I think ) of the website. I think its a really good idea to leave the front page without google ads. That will make your CTR higher and possible of more clicks.

Take a look at the front page of this website
    www.labnol.blogspot.com

Now, try to read any article, you will see all the ads on the page specially google ads.

Note: the website mentioned above is one of the best Technological websites on the web.
