I stopped eating beef a coupla years back and haven't looked back. I drink so much milk I felt bad eating the cow's meat as well. Also how they kill the cows are so horrible
I have nothing against eating tasty animals but recently I've been eating a lot more fish and salads than before. I eat beef or pork maybe 3-4 times a month.
I do eat beef but not very often. I think there are some important nutrients in red meat, so I have some from time to time, as I am recovering from Guillain Barre Syndrome and my muscles need the help. I do like the flavour and the smell of it cooking, yet it just has never been my favourite, for some reason. I prefer lighter meats (like chicken) and fish. Truth be told, I'm happy with just eating pasta, rice and veggies. Sometimes have to remind myself to eat animal protein. But I have nothing against it. Still, I do not want details on how the animals die.
Lol your food preferences are very similar to mine. I could easily go without red meat although have it sometimes. I love my seafood though.
I eat corned beef very often. It is one of the main dishes of my family. My mother cooks it in various ways: baked, sauteed, fried, and steamed. I love it so much. I feel sorry about how people kill cow to eat. I thank to God many times before eating it. I always pray so that its sacrifice will bless my family in health and prosperity. I'm in deep appreciation with this creature.
I'm not the only one who will say sorry for the killing yet enjoying not only beef, but also fish, chicken, etc.
