I have read a couple of books, seen movies, and browsed and searched over the internet, but could not get my self to to form one big straight opinion that if the Illuminati still exist somewhere in the shadows or not.. What do you guys think about this? Do they exist? Were they perished long ago?
Question assumes facts not in evidence. I doubt they truly ever existed (at least in the form presented in popular culture). Not an available option as the query is phrased.
It's true that the bankers got immense power, but all the stories about a New World Order are bollocks indeed.
The Illuminati was founded on 1 May, 1776 and existed until Karl Theodor of Bavaria banned the organization in 1784. The goals of the Illuminati were quite laudable, the abolition of all monarchical governments and state religions in Europe and its colonies. I believe the Illuminati can best be understood by reading Thomas Jefferson: Weishaupt believes that to promote this perfection of the human character was the object of Jesus Christ. That his intention was simply to reinstate natural religion, & by diffusing the light of his morality, to teach us to govern ourselves. His precepts are the love of God & love of our neighbor. And by teaching innocence of conduct, he expected to place men in their natural state of liberty & equality. He says, no one ever laid a surer foundation for liberty than our grand master, Jesus of Nazareth. He believes the Free masons were originally possessed of the true principles & objects of Christianity, & have still preserved some of them by tradition, but much disfigured. The means he proposes to effect this improvement of human nature are "to enlighten men, to correct their morals & inspire them with benevolence. Secure of our success, sais he, we abstain from violent commotions. To have foreseen, the happiness of posterity & to have prepared it by irreproachable means, suffices for our felicity. The tranquility of our consciences is not troubled by the reproach of aiming at the ruin or overthrow of states or thrones." As Weishaupt lived under the tyranny of a despot & priests, he knew that caution was necessary even in spreading information, & the principles of pure morality. He proposed therefore to lead the Free masons to adopt this object & to make the objects of their institution the diffusion of science & virtue. He proposed to initiate new members into his body by gradations proportioned to his fears of the thunderbolts of tyranny. This has given an air of mystery to his views, was the foundation of his banishment, the subversion of the masonic order, & is the colour for the ravings against him of Robinson, Barruel & Morse, whose real fears are that the craft would be endangered by the spreading of information, reason, & natural morality among men. This subject being new to me, I have imagined that if it be so to you also, you may receive the same satisfaction in seeing, which I have had in forming the analysis of it: & I believe you will think with me that if Wishaupt had written here, where no secrecy is necessary in our endeavors to render men wise & virtuous, he would not have thought of any secret machinery for that purpose.
There has not yet been hard evidence to state that is was or wasn't real. Until they find evidence that cannot be argued, i stay at a neutral side.
I do... This is a proof.... don't worry it's not my website dosen't have ads too... so feel free to check it out: http://crownempire.org/
Adam Weishaupt, the founder of the Illuminati, wrote about the experience himself: (1786) Apology of the Illuminati. (1786) Full history of the persecution of the Illuminati in Bavaria. (1786) Depiction of the Illuminati. (1787) Introduction to my apology. (1787) [Some original writings of the Illuminati ...] (1787) Brief justification of my intentions. (1787) Addendum to justify my intentions. (1787) Apology of discontent and evil. (1787) The improved system of the Illuminati. (1788) Illuminate The true, or true, unimproved rituals of the Illuminati. I'd say that the writings of the founder of the movement himself should be considered "evidence."
Well, actually I just finished reading Angels and Demons by Dan Brown for the fifth time. It always raises my interest in the illuminati and any sort of evidence that leads to it. The beginning of the book (the preface - maybe), says that all location and fact in the book is real and can be verified. This is what raises my interest in the subject and the bill of my internet usage!!
FFS people the only "secret" organization that exist today are the Freemasons . There are no other international "secret" organizations . Grow up . What's next ? Aliens visited us and the governments "don't want us to know" .
The "alients visited us and the government doesn't want us to know" is an older theory than the illuminati. And there's more evidence to the existence of the Illuminati than there is to the existence of God, it's all your discretion. It doesn't make a difference to the truth either way.
Really ? An older theory then an actual group that existed in XVIII century ? AFAIK the entire alien craze begun whit the Roswell incident . And what does the existence of God have to do whit the Illuminati ? Confusion or just another whack at religion ?
Some people don't believe in it, and all that hype started after Dan Brown's books AFAIK. Minor interest earlier, but most people hadn't even heard the word before then. And just another whack at religion
