Do you know who Fatimah is? Lets compare Aisyah’s age with Fatimah’s age.
According to Ibn Hajar,
“Fatima was born when Ka`bah was rebuilt, when Muhammad was 35 years old… Fatimah is 5 years older than Aisyah “(Al-isabah fi tamyizi’l-sahabah, Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, Vol. 4, p. 377, Maktabatu’l-Riyadh al-haditha, al-Riyadh, 1978).
If the statement from Ibn Hajar is actual, it means Aisyah was born when Muhammad was 40 years old.
If Aisyah married with Muhammad when he was 52 years old, then her age when she got married was 12 years old.

CONCLUSION: Ibn Hajar, Tabari, Ibn Hisham, dan Ibn Humbal are being contradicted in each other, but it looks obvious that the story about Aisyah got married when she was 7 years old is only a myth.

There in the house I saw some Ansari women who said, "Best wishes and Allah's Blessing and a good luck." Then she entrusted me to them and they prepared me (for the marriage). Unexpectedly Allah's Apostle came to me in the forenoon and my mother handed me over to him, and at that time I was a girl of nine years of age. (Sahih Bukhari 5.234)

The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) married me when I was seven or six. When we came to Medina, some women came. according to Bishr's version: Umm Ruman came to me when I was swinging. They took me, made me prepared and decorated me. I was then brought to the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him), and he took up cohabitation with me when I was nine. She halted me at the door, and I burst into laughter. (Sunan Abu Da'ud 41.4915, Sunan Abu Da'ud 41.4916, Sunan Abu Da'ud 41.4917)

I'll try my best to answer any of your confusions. I am not a person who studies deeply into religion (<< I am doing Computer Engineering) but I do have necessary the correct guide and information in Islam as I love to learn all about it. We do comparison religion you know.
