Hey Ben, Your question was a little off, in my opinion. Are you referring to "referring google adwords" - or are you referring to using AdWords for promoting affiliate programs?
I never claimed myself that I am success But the more I learn, The more I got First month I gain only a little bucks the second, I gain much more than the first trial and error about 200% the third month and others onwards. I get much better than before. I learn it from DP ^_^
I think it depends on the niche of your site whether or not AdWords Referrals will be useful to you. The best thing to do is try it out for a little while and expirement with it a bit. You'll never know until you try.
I'm using adwords for 7 days now and until now I'm still not sure if it will work for me. It also depends on which percentage of your profit you will/can spend to Google. At this point I made some calculations and I'm aiming at spending like 60% of my profit on adwords. It's a lot but it's the same as I'm giving to my resellers so why shouldn't I do the same for Google. Time will point out if I can keep my campaign within the 60% limit.
