Do you give more importance to a domain name by ending with dot com?

    What does this statement even mean?

    As mentioned by others certain country extensions, especially .co.uk and .de can be very very valuable.

    Of course, as domainers, .com will be the first choice. However, the general public doesn't seem to care as long as it's .com, .net, or .org.

    First choise must be .Com .. Domains like .info and .org looks cheap !!! .Net is also ok .. but .com is the best !!!

    I would disagree, see my previous post. When the general public are typing in domain names, they will automatically type in .com
