Im pretty sure you do !! there was this particular guy who did this for a couple of his sites, both sites were ranked pr5 so im guessing he was no noob and cant quite go wrong for two submissions, what do you guys do with such people/links ? do you delete ?

My free directory have paid featured listings.. I do receive such submissions.
Their intention seems to be - Get lucky if by mistake admin approves it.

I think everyone gets them! I'm no exception. Let it sit a day or 2 and delete.

This seems pretty commonplace. I'm sure some are by accident and many others are by intent.

It’s so easy to submit using some filling software, they just hit go, and runaway.

I've had a few, but I just delete and forget about them. It's usually websites of "SEO companies". Maybe this is an SEO tactic?

If it's a single instance, I'll send an email to inquire if there were any problems with the payment processing as there have been issues with PayPal in the past. I'll include a link to the payment page related to their submission. After a few days I'll delete the submission. If the payment does happen to come through after that, there's always the email notification with the submission details to fall back on.

If someone is submitting multiple sites and skipping out, just delete the submissions and move on. Not worth much more time or effort.

These people are the bane of all Directory Owners and they are a nuisance

But the amazing thing is that if they were honest and paid up they would likely see an upturn in their own business fortunes

Having said that these masses with their inordinate naiveity and stupidity always lose out eventually

Your supposed to be on top off your business...

If they chose to be stupid then let them..
Ban them and make thier websites known
to other directory owners and it stops the bums
who do that sort of thing....

    thx
