Do you get paid to do surveys?

I've joined this site called cashcrate and i've already earned almost $200 in just a few days filling in free surveys- without any catches!! I received checks in the past for around $50, too.

Is anyone else a member of these type of website and could you recommend anymore?

Referral links are against the rules anywhere except your signature. In answer to your question though yes I do - I just received a £50 ($100) check from a company called YouGov that do political type opinion polls. YouGov is open to UK/US/EU residents. There's another good one called Ciao. Anyone interested can PM me and I'll happily provide them with my referral links (that's how it's done :p)

Yep, that's partly right. But if you are enrolled in 4 or 5 survey programs at the same time you can make a little extra pocket money - perhaps not a fortune, but enough for a nice meal every couple of months. And some people just enjoy answering survey questions!

I have signed up for a lot of those survey scams and all I ever get is an inbox full of spam.

I belong to e-rewards and while the rewards aren't great, I do believe that opinions are valuable for businesses in order for them to create new products and services and fix what's wrong with their current products.

Legit survey sites like Global Test Market pay very low, I have been with them for almost 2 years now and I have not yet reach the minimum cashout.

I've never done any paid surveys, but if you say you earned some good money, I wouldn't mind to try. :)

You're absolutely correct. Most of them are indeed scams. To avoid this problem, when someone links to me to any GPT site, I always run a google seach on them. For example: "Cashcrate" and "scam". You'll find some great info.

I've worked on CC for almost a year now, and love it.

I've only doing surveys on one site Your voice thats the Australian link with no affiliate stuff either.

You don't get money but you get gift certificates or other items. I got myself a new Ipod nano from there after 6 months of doing 1-2 surveys per month.

edit : some surveys can take up to an hour to complete. ooh and it took an extra 2 months for them to post the ipod out too.
