    Hi,
In my web directory here, I have displayed some basic "site types" that can be submitted to that particular category just below the name of the category. This is to help submitters decide if this particular category will be best suited for their website or is there another suitable category in the crowd.

Example I don't want "software" sites to be submitted in "computers" because I have a seperate "software" category. So just below computers, I mentioned a message.
Simillarly I distinguished "advertising" from "Internet marketing".

My question, Do you as a submitter find this useful?
Please tell me what you think of this as I have a few other things coming in...

Also let me know if you think I need to change a particular description. Please suggest descriptions also.
    web directory's here
    Thank you

It might be useful to a person submitting their site to a directory for the first time. Otherwise, I think people have a good idea where to send their site. Maybe you could make a mouse-over and save the space on the page.
