Do you find public affection embarrasing?

I don't see anything wrong (this side of "get a room" behavior) with public affection.. except in the workplace.. doesn't belong there IMO.

 

mmm i think this is a problem with IT savy people. Our world is mostly within the comp which puts some pressure on social dealing.

 

My boyfriend in high school got the award for showing the most PDA. It was embarrassing. My friends hated him cause he groped me all the time and I felt really uncomfortable too.

If it was just a peck on the lips or some hand-holding or something I wouldn't have minded...but slobbering and hands going up shirts and down pants is a totally different story. Just don't do it. It's gross and it makes it awkward for other people. It's called RESPECT.

 

Did that lead to you being Morgan's Mom or did you dump him for trying to make your life a living porno?

When I think PDA I think hugging, holding hands, and softer kissing.

I think it's really sweet when you see an elderly couple holding hands in the street. Hope I'm like that at 80.

 

thats a little too much now, i have never seen this in public, people do such things hidingly not in front of all. thats strange the guy , as tims said it should have been a strict no that..

 

I did say no...but he would keep trying. Eventually I freaked out on him and he settled down after that, but he was a persistent bastard for awhile.

Public affection by itselfis not bad but you must know limits when you know that you are surrounded by people.You cannot behave outdors the same way as you would be indoors. I hope you got the point.

no way ! public affection is good ! in love and war there's no rules ...it's said.
but there should be also limits, personal ones. The bothering part for others or yourself is when your/theirs limits are different.
First, I'm not feeling embarrassed when others near me are kissing, hugging very tight....hey they could be even making out and i wouldn't feel shy but that's not something I would do.
But for me in public ... it's just hugs, kisses and holding hands ....well...maybe some indecent touches when I'm sure nobody is looking

I do agree, public affection is embarassing for me, but for reasons that feelings are to be private. Hard to explain that to a girl though, in my past experiences.

 

It's okay if I do it just nobody else.

 

lol...When I was about 12 and 13 I wouldn't even hug my girl friend in public. Now I would do anything with my girl friend in front of anybody. So...yeah. I probably would be embarrassed, but it's so worth it.

 

I have no problem with that, i sometimes spank my wife in cab or subway.
She really enjoys it, and some elder ladies always smile at me when i do it.
When we were younger we sometimes ran through subway naked, but i
quess we are too old to do that anymore. Actually we got in trouble with
the police once doing it, but after i convinced the police officer that it
was just because we love each other so much, they let us go.

 

In China, public affection, even though becoming a bit more accepting, is almost sinful.

 

too bad this is still happening, worldwide I mean. People should be free to do what they want.
