Do you feel you’re being bullied by google?

Ridiculous. The bully 'pouncing' on you was provoked, if anything. Google is a business first, and a glory-hog second. They aren't evil. They want to make as much revenue as they can, and they don't want to lose you, insignificant or not.

 

Who told you the bully has pounced on me? I am quite happy with performance of all my sites in google as well as earning from adsense.

This is just a question for every one here, just want to know how exactly they feel about google and whether or not they do development based on what google likes or dislikes. After all daily we see a plethora of threads dedicated to one thing or other related to google.

 

You're using them. Therefore, you play by their rules.

If I came to live at your house for a while, and started stealing things/etc, you'd boot me. I could call you a bully at the same time, no?

Google doesn't do anything wrong. They are, infact, a business.

 

Agreed, but what if the house was built on your land and with the raw material you supplied.

Anyway, you didn't build the world wide web. You didn't supply anything to contribute to the building of it. Neither did any of the AdSense users ever to use AdSense.

Neither did google, for the majority of the part it doesn’t even generate any content. Its search engine bots index the content you and I develop and its adsense ads are presented in those search results and on our websites.

At best I would describe google as a middle man, not as a house owner. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against google. For the most part I don’t really care what it does, if it brings me free traffic then I really appreciate, if it doesn’t then at best my 30% traffic would dry up and I would focus on other ways to get users on my sites.

I think that I am being bullied by google. I truthfully do. They control the web directory-visibility. They know what every single person has searched including the potential candidates. They are a big monopoly to me.

You need google they dont need you.
You want to rank number 1 on google that is why you are taking the measures.
So my answer is Big NO!
