Do you feel Adsense is robbing you?

Often, I would see my initial reported earnings go down.
And I notice clicked ads with high CPC of $1-$2 was taken off my reported clicks.

I know earnings are estimated, but clicks are not estimated... right? Obviously someone clicked the ads and they just erased it with no explanation. And I noticed that it's always the high CPC ads.

Just wondering if others here notice the same thing?

Clicks revenue is an average on your estimated earnings per number of clicks. Yes, number of clicks might not be estimated but if you only have 1-2 clicks a day ( since you can count it ), the chance that reversals is very high. If you have low traffic and you suddenly have 2 clicks they might be from a lunatic that is just clicking ads like hell and then hit the "back" button.

I get around 80 clicks a day.. around 2% CTR. And I use custom channels to track performance. That's why I know when they take out clicks.
The clicks they often take out comes from the frontpage which is not high traffic so when there's 2 or 3 clicks... the CTR from the frontpage is high. But since coming from the frontpage which I only put 2 ads... the CPC is high at around $2. So I always notice when they take it out.. which always happens everyday.

The clicks are disappearing.... I always notice because I would always see 2 or 3 clicks reported in that channel and often it will disappear.

I just don't understand why anyone would want to be in business with someone that they don't trust.

My opinion is don't depend on Adsense. Who knows whether they are removing genuine earnings from the estimated earnings also. They don't use a fair method to prove whether the removed earnings are earnings from fraudulent clicks or not.

On the other hand, if you use Adwords you can see how they eat your money. As a publisher you gets a very little while Google keeps a larger portion of it. You will not get the 60% as they advertise IMO.

As you mentioned they are robbing you IMO.

Please kindly forgive my friend Agent000 for his attitude. He's like that when he forget to take his pills.

OT, i too experienced that removal of clicks. I think GA's algorithm automatically remove clicks when it is flagged as an "invalid click".

You are right. I'm in Adwords too, I know what you're saying. And I've been with Adsense for almost a decade now. I only started noticing this since I became full time on my websites. I'll probably start looking for alternatives.

I'm also documenting some proof that they've been taking out clicks from my earnings everyday. As of this post, I just saw 2 clicks worth $5 vanished. I estimate losing up to $20 a day from this.

Yeah, it's just frustrating when you see you're losing money when you've been trying to make more.
