Hey guys I am wondering if many of you link straight to the payment page here or if you would rather go through your hoplink first?

What are the advantages and disadvantages of doing this?

    Thanks

P.S Yey database errors not seen this for what....a week now?! stupid DP...

If the vendors' pay page cant let visitors make decision to purchase, then lead them to your landing page and persuade them to pay.

If your copy converts better than vendors page then its smart move to direct link to payment page.
Some vendors may not like this thing because, if your sales copy promise something which the product do not deliver that may increase refunds and charge-backs. I am not sure, but vendor do have the authority to block a particular affiliate.

I had read this thing into Supper's(Dp Member) Journal.

    Choice is yours.

Hmm interesting well I have not changed the sales copy just I think its easier to make the customer do two steps rather than three.

    Two steps:

Land on my page go straight to payment page

    Three steps:

Land on my page go to other page then go to payment page

Seems a better idea however I am just not sure if I always get the commission or not.

I think you will get commission as long as users machine accepts CB cookie.

I usually just go through the vendor sales page because there is typically a correlation between the sales page and quality of the product anyway. If they have a truly awesome product, they will dole out some cash for a good landing page.

yeah, unless its a very dodgy sales page, (in which case I might not bother at all) I will link to the sales page, after preselling first of course.
