Hi, I use the Alexa toolbar for checking backlinking sites. It shows sites, not just "backlinks". I find it more useful than using Google, which hides backlinking sites rather... Are you using Alexa too? What is your opinion?
iI haven't checked alexa backlinks but I'm about to right now. I'm curious as to how many backlinks I have.
Alexa will NOT show you all backlinks (but it's good to check your TOP backlinks) -> Especially if you have the paid membership
I hope you are aware that it is very easy to "manipulate" its results for a specific domain. I personally do not use Alexa for that purpose.
Never cared much for alexa, I only slap my site on there to help it get indexed, beyond that it is useless to me in my opinion.
Lol using Alexa for checking backlinks will help in the same way jumping helps get you closer to the sun. Try using a real tool like Majestic or Ahrefs.
Despite not displaying all links, unless paid, Alexa is a great tool to see whether you got more links or, whether the number of links is decreasing. I also think that Alexa is great in filtering out bad quality spammy backlinks. They tend to show much "real backlinks". Quite a good tool, if you want to verify the number of backlinks to your site.
Alexa is not always the reliable source to check for backlinks. They do not always upload your backlinks and rankings. You may miss some of your backlinks if they fail to update those. You can check online backlink checker tools to check your backlinks. Those are really good from my opinion.
