It is difficult to quanitify how much I earn from my signature links - does anyone have an opinion or stats on how much they make from theirs?
It is hard to tell when sales get generated through sig links without proper tracking in place. I do drive thousands and thousands of dollars worth of sales through signature links - but it do it through driving them to my opt in list first so that I can market to them over and over again.
Sig links play a big part in my IM biz, but to say exactly what income comes from it is impossible to tell. If it was not possible to use sig links, income would drop. Do you agree ?
I've made exactly $708 from my signature links in the past 60 days. Always, always, ALWAYS use tracking codes and redirects to know where your traffic comes from.
How do you put a tracking code in a signature link? If you read this and bother to reply could you explain it in terms a 4 year old would understand? Also, your DP signature link isn't linked - does that make you any money?
Let's pretend your page is at http://www.example.com/salespage.php for a moment. Link to http://www.example.com/salespage.php?BOOGEDYBOOGEDYBOO and your logs will show that. The visitor still gets salespage.php, but you'll have the BOOGEDYBOOGEDYBOO part in your logs... so you can search for it, and strip out all the stuff that came from a specific location. Once you start doing that, you can collate it with sales records, and see things like a person with this IP address loaded your page with BOOGEDYBOOGEDYBOO and then three minutes later he clicked "buy now" button #4 on the page and bought your product. So you can go look at where button #4 is, and the sales copy immediately before it is probably what kicked him over the edge to buy. When you see a pattern emerging, like people always click button #4, you can use that to improve your sales page. Maybe you can move that copy higher on the page. The .357 Article Method isn't live yet. Give it another day or three.
I Never got sales from my signature link so think better I just offer anybody want to place their link on my siggy then pay me monthly.
I never get traffic from my signature links, but i earn backlinks. I hope depending upon product, and advertising of signature link, you might earn revenue.

Yes, though not here. until now I have only been using the DP sig links for backlinks, the free weight loss PLR articles in my sig are the first effort at nonbacklinking sigs I have done - and that could do with improvement (going to be doing a lot of tweaking and experimenting shortly)
Signature links do play part in the promotional side of business as it might be one of those things to get people too curious to click and try on it. Though, on the other hand, it may not always depend on your signature links but how are they targeted on forums. Basically, if you've found out that your niche is needed bigtime in this area then do not hesitate to show them what you got and absolutely, you'll create sales. Tracking on your sales page as well can take it to the advantage.
Sigs can make you money but it will depend on you sig (how often is it clicked and does it draw attention), where they go to when they click it (is it just going to a website, is it going to a free offer, is it going to a opt-in page or is it going to a sales page), as well as what type of offer it is. Try something different in your sig file - there are thousands of SEO sig file, PLR sig file, Traffic Generation, Link Exchange and make money When you try something that's no common, it can help
