I donate basically to charities, most of the time.

Nah to tell the truth I haven't donated as I am a bit skeptic about this online donations. I donate offline though

I make donations depending on the situation.

1. If I can afford to make a donation.

2. If I like/appreciate what I'm getting from something. For example, there was this tv shows site that I really liked, but their servers were expensive (about $200/month) because of the high bandwidth. They asked for donations because they were ad-free but I never donated. Then they had to shut down, and I really miss them . Now I donate to all the sites that make me happy

3. If it can help somebody. I saw a donation form for some african relief program, or something, and it said that $1 saved 1 child. I had just gotten paid for a service I made that day, so I donated $50. Feels good to know I probably saved 50 children, and if I could've, I would have donated more.

Be careful when it comes to the person who is asking for donations, as I'm sure there are people out there who keep them for themselves.

I'm a college student but i donate what I can, to political campaigns & disaster relief especially.

 

One time I went out and bought almost $1000 worth of toys and gave em to Toys for Tots for Christmas.

 

I will not donate , prefer to donate the needies instead of this.
