Hello, I was thinking I might do paid subscriptions for my members and give them a few extra things. But I would like to know who does it on their forum, blog, site etc. What do you give them in return? How much do you charge? How many members do you have / did you start with when introducing it? This information will help me
I offer several levels of subsrciptions on one of my sites, including a free one. A free subscription allows basic access to some of the tools of the site (but content isn't included). But then I offer two levels of paid subsciptions after that - each offers different levels of content download. Most people go for the "free" stuff as much as possible, so offering a free (or trial) account might be a good way to lure them in.
Well the service is free at the moment as its a forum and I have not added the paid subscriptions yet.
