    Depends on the project/service I am about to offer. Not sure about marketing. Offering marketing may not always be accepted well by the target audience. Every business does marketing and for you to succeed with your offer, you would need to find someone who actually needs a change, wants to spend on marketing and fails to find a provider. Not sure the odds are good here.

    Come on ODT, cheer him/her on. No way to find out unless you get out there and do it, and I believe if he/she is feeling brave and has some good ideas to hammer in - let the marketing begin! :) Nothing to lose, right (dignity?) - Might as well give it a shot and get it out of the way so you can pursue it further or erase it from your board.

    Sorry :) Yes, absolutely agree. You can't really lose anything except for your time and possibly good feeling about what you do. It depends on what kind of reactions you receive. On the other hand, if you hit it, you did not waste your time, you have customer, you have money and you have pretty damn good feeling :)
