    I dont need to close my door when I am home alone, unless I am expecting someone to come then I lock it right away lol.

    Same here... not only I close the door, I also lock it - I like my privacy and do not want any unexpected visitors at the most inconvenient moment :eek:

    i live with my dad and hes never here when i am awake .....and if the door is closed you cant hear if someone is calling you , someone at the door, foods done in the microwave, etc...

    Only if its dark out....the house is weird at night

    I have no door, just removed it to replace with curtains ... but then I always cover with the curtains :D
