This is the time of the year when people invest their last money to write off taxes. thats why submissions, sales and other things usually pickup. As far as slowing down on approval schedules, i think its a good idea, since some of us might just lay around drunk on New Years eve, somewhere in a pile of show for a couple of days. i know i will...
It's a nice time of year to select a few quality submissions and list them for free. An unexpected refund and free listing is always welcome - and it feels pretty good when you do.
I work i my but off and work every third Tuesday morning, every 2 months.Looks like i better lift my game.
We are going to stop accepting free submissions from end of play this Friday until 8th Jan 2008. Express (paid) will still be accepted and processed as normal. We could just allow the free submissions to queue up but by the time we started clearing them there would be a couple of thousand pending which makes it really hard to catch back up and doesn't make for a happy new year. Still as they say you get what you pay for
This seems the best solution and one i use when going away for any period of time, at least the submitter knows to expect a delay. Also stops the whingers emailing after 12 hrs screaming 'why hasnt my site appeared yet'
