Do you Click on your own ads?

I did once when I was drunk, but never since as I don't really feel like getting my account banned, ya know!

 

dude i have done it on accident and google knows when you do it. they track your IP address so you dont even get any money. i guess you could click it once from a different IP, but it really wouldnt do much and you wouldnt be able to do it more than once. I dont recomend doing it tho. Youll get banned

 

Google is too Jewish with how they do stuff, they're getting paid more then the publishers do.

 

If you ever plan to do it, get an iPhone and take a bus around your city and every two blocks click on the ads. It will be from a diferent ip address every time, though I don't suggest cheating advertisers out of their money.

Creating to many impression on your own site can also cause you to be banned

 

clicks/visitors ratio will be too high, google will catch on. and if you have so many visitors that your clicks would be buried then it's not worth it to waste your time

 

No, I never click on my ads, and I don't recommend at all that somebody tries.

 

I accidentally clicked on one of my ads one day, but that's because the page lagged when loading in FireFox. I sent Google an email explaining it and they were like "That's ok then".

i dont think google even counts the click if you click your own ads

 

If you use Firefox get the adblockplus plugin. Then you don't have to worry about clicking on your own ads, they just won't show up. It works great. I would never recommend clicking, why chance your account on a couple pennies. It just isn't worth it, plus you know how much people pay for clicks if you are an advertiser.

 

lol. $500.00 a month isn't that much at all. Certainly not enough to risk being perma-banned from adsense. I think it is irresponsible to encourage DP members to click their own ads, or suggest that they will be able to game google.

Its not good to click on your own ads... just what a poster said, your acct might be deleted. Adsense income must come from unique visitors and with own interest.

 

Nope, don't want to get banned. If you want to get banned then sure click your own ads.

 

I click my ads sometimes when im on other peoples computers.
