I never click them. I feel if I need to click my ads than I'm probably not a very good webmaster.

DO NOT! You will get crappy ads and/or public service ads so fast. I accidentally did one day while intensely developing a site. Had used one of the supposedly undocumented settings for testing... and began wondering why the adsense wasn't working correctly anymore. Duhoh!

If you do, do what I did... send Google an apology with explanation why it happened.

    Good luck!

No.. Google clearly states that it isn't allowed.
Of course I accidentally click now and then but that happens to everyone so its not like I'm trying to earn more money. If I see an ad I like I just type in the url :)

How unethical ... I've never even thought about clicking my own ads, even if it were OK by Google, I'd feel guilty cheating advertisers out of their money..

wow google's been nice to some people, i never even knew they handed out warnings.

as far as clicking your own ads go, even if you think you've discovered the fool proof method it is so unbelievably not worth even risking it. there's too much potential for some real, good money to risk losing all that.

Even if you think you have a way to click your own ads and not be caught now that Google doesn't know, be assured, if people start using it, they will figure it out soon enough.

It's crazy to even consider doing this. It not only risks your account being banned and is dishonest to advertisers, but you will soon get radically smart priced, even if they don't ban you right away, as none of all those clicks will convert to sales! And that will affect your whole site (maybe account-wide??), which means anything you legitimately earn will be drastically less per click too.

Build up a legitimate high quality site and you will get traffic and clicks... in time.

If you need something that they have for referrals, that is a good $10+ right there, I've done THAT before.
