If I find the signature links to be useful to me then I click them. I always look at signature links whenever I post a reply; may be I can find some good for me.
I found my designer's support site by typing in his DP screen name into google once. I'd like to here from all the members who purchase siggie links or sell them about why they do it. (Don't say i do it for the money )
I know I'll click on sigs but I really hadn't heard about "selling and buying" sig space (he said, a bit embarrassed). I guess it makes sense.
Yes, and sometimes a forum-reader might actually click through to your profile from one of your posts, and there find your homepage, and click through to that. Interested readers click on sig lines and profiles. I think it best to have both.
I am new here, but in the past, in other forums I have clicked a number of signatures. I like to see what people offer, and if their signature relates to what they are posting to determine whether they have credentials.
I do if I'm asking for referral info or any possible info that would help a dp member. I only click links on topics I start normally!
Boy, I DO hope people click on signature links (especially here in mine! )! Yes, I click on signature links especially when I know that I can learn a lot from those websites. I even click signature links of "competitors"
You have over 1,000 posts and a signature link. Check your log files! But yes, signature links do generate some traffic. This month I received over 250 visitors from DP. Make your signature link colored and bold. It will draw more attention and get you more clicks.
Generally I ignore signatures but if Im curious about somebody based on their posts I may check out their sig to see if I can find out a little more about them.
It really depends on my mood actualy. I do from time to time, usualy if Im in an explorish mood lol. And I had no idea referral links are against the TOS...I'll have to watch out for that when I get to add a sig
Exactly what I was going to say! Yeah, I click on sigs and blog links all the time. If the anchor text sounds interesting I'll click. And if the person sounds or seems interesting in their post, then I will click to find out more information.
Yes I do if I am interested in the anchor text and also see lots of visitors to my blogs from DP and so yes people do visit.
