never click on ads. i have adblocker running as well as the customize google firefox extension which eliminates google ads on google searches. i will however sometimes click affiliate links to see what they're all about.
I also don't click any ads, after started to use adsense and adwords... I just copy the link or check whether it s ppc ads or link exchange
being the webmaster i never click on own ads because its against the TOS even those if you wanted to generate some clicks by clicking on your own ads then it means i am not a good webmaster
I will click if the ads appeal to me or i am looking for some particular information. After reading this post, i will probably start clicking for a well written post.
i also not click frequently but if i liked that is very rare then i click. If someone interested really in that visit each other blog for this dam clicking on each others site. i have to share a experience. i joined entrecard.com many of you will be aware of that, There i always use to recieve messages saying you click my adds and i will click you to earn bull shit. I started ignoring that posts. Its bludy waste entrecard traffic i think so .
Unless I find something interesting with the ads, then only will I click on it. But I guess, what you are saying is true, being a webmaster does has its influence to develop the tendency not to click on ads. It's also the fact that webmasters know how to differentiate between real contents or just pure ads which leads you to nothing more than sales page.
If I'm interested in the ad. I usually don't notice them because I go to sites to get information not to be sold on some other site's product or service.
I only click ads when the ads are interesting. Yes I agree, if I like the site then I will subscribe to reward the webmaster. I didn't earn much from PPC ads and they are not my main source of income VampireXxX
Before I go into blogging I wouldn't have known a google ad from a sandbox. But now after a bit of playing around with blogs you get to know about cookies, adsense and so on. I am so careful now not to put my mouse pointer anywhere near a google ad so it does make me a bit warey when there is something that cathes my eye on another site in the ads. If it is genuinely interesting I will click on it whether it be a related post or an ad, but one thing I do know - don't mess with google adsense.
