Do you click on Adsense ads?

I didn't take sides but I think you have an excellent point! You did notice I suggested he never engage. I don't know anything about you. So if it sounded like I was taking sides, I'm sorry. I didn't mean too. It was general advice.

Clearly his comment was out of line and I am taking sides on that one.

 

I have booked one of my vacations through an adsense ad.. I wasn't getting booking in any hotels and suddenly saw an ad from a new hotel and boooked it. I have also bought software etc. from these ads.

 

I used to, but not anymore. Adblock doesn't let me see ads xD

 

Very easy - if you interested in this add - just click and go to next website. hosting, which I've use now for 1+ year was discovered through adsense, and I can say that 3 persons where happy from my click - I'm, because I've got proper hosting, webmaster, because he've got some $$ and hoster, because he sell his product.

I think this is very clear and obvious logic.

 

If I want to visit the website that the advertisement talks about or it catches my eye, then of course I'll click it! Some times I might even just type in the URL so as to not cost the advertiser any money.

 

Yeah, if the ad is very attracting and is the right website i was looking for then i will definitley click it.

 

I do the same thing. I'm an adsense publisher and adwords advertiser. so when ever i see an ad that interest me, i enter the domain in manually.

 

click ing on there own ads haha.......cool this is wat my friend did and google send him a mail telling u have done a fraudulent click and deleted the account ..I woder how google finds it ...

 

Who said clicking our own ads? The OP simply asked if you would click on and ad if it was interesting for you on a site.

Yep, that's what I do most of hte time. Occassionally I will catch myself not paying much attention and clicking the google ad but for the most part, i will simply manually type the URL.

 

I do the same. I click on Adsense ads very rarely - only if I'm really interested in buying the product.

 

I certainly am aware that by clicking on an ad, someone is going to lose money and someone is going to gain money and so I only do it when I have a legitimate interest in what is on the other side, but never from my own sites.

 

I click on a lot of ads, all kinds of ads and always checking out what people are doing and how they are doing it but it's normally out of business interest than consumer interest.

I dont click on any adsense, mine or anyone else. It scares the crap out of me for some reasons.

If you want people to click on your ads stop doing the making money or IM stuff. Go for other niche that don't target webmasters. The highest CTR I found so far is on jobs or classified site.

 

Sometimes I click on it while reading on the article and I found tempting offer on ad sense add.
