Do YOU click on ads?

Not links but banner ads. Well I think a better question is how often do you click on them? I am asking this because I would've never believed there was a market for online advertising before I stumbled upon a random article online. Personally I click on maybe 1 ad out of a thousand pages.

What is ur curiousity percentage out of 1000?

 

yea maybe I would click on 1/1000 pages, after a while from using free services such as yahoo, your eye gets trained to ignore banner style ads and actually never really focus on them thus never click on them

 

I click on ads that genuinely interest me.

And the reason there is a market for online advertising is because there is huge money to be made with it.

 

i think maybe 20-50/1000.

If i see an ad that interests me i will click it and see what it is about.

 

100/1000 maybe less... except for my sites... I click on the ads that interest me and most of the time th ads are relevant! So I click on them!

 

Same here, I click on the ones that interest me. Which I imagine is actually about 1 out every 1000, maybe even less.

Never. If im on a site, its because im interested in the site, not in going off and buying something lol..

 

Depend on the quality of banner ads content relevancy & specific design that appeal me some time to click.

I do click on banner ads, but only when they are genuinely interesting

I guess it depends on what type of surfer you are. Don't see myself clicking on ads too often.

 

I click only if I'm interested in the product or the topic that is suggested by the ad. It is very low percentage maybe about 1-3/1000, it's only a guess.

But it is interesting, we all want to make money through ads and we ourselves do not click on them ;-)

 

I maybe click them once in while if they intreast me but i dont like it when they get redirected to a parked page that piss's me off.

 

I never click on Advertisments, not because I do not want the person to get money, just I normally think of them as Spyware, so when you click on it, you are going to get spyware, espically the FastClick Advertisments.

I agree, with most of you guys. I don't click on alot of banners but the ones I do have to be appealling, not overly flashy and anoying and have an indicing tag line on it.

 

Banners, i click on about 10/1000, if they really interest me.
Text ads, my click rate will be about 1/1,000,000

 

I never click ads, and I certainly would never buy something thru an affiliate ad. Sometimes, it amazes me at how many people actually do
