I was curious as to whether you guys keep article resource boxes which convert well or if you constantly change it up per article? I don't understand it completely because I write similar articles all the time and will try to just repeat a resource box when it does well in the past but then out of nowhere the clicks will just drop, like I've got to think of another genius one, then that'll get stale quickly and I need to start it all over again. What are your experiences?
I change them often just to reduce risk. It's impossible to track the changes though because I'd need so many different domains.
I make my resource box blend with the article content (sort of like a continuation to the article, or something directly related to the title of the article). Therefore, 98.9% of the time, each resource box is unique. You'll get better CTR and conversions that way.
I think it is good policy to change your Resource Box every single time. I don't even use the default one in eza, I just come up with something unique that relates directly to the article. I directly target my resource box to entice the reader to click the links and so far I've got about 33% CTR on eza.
