there are lot of expensive things in range say about $500-$50k or more.

sometimes you do have some cash but u want to use it for ur own things other then the product ur buying or probably for some reserve.

my questions is do you buy the products on installment basis or pay the full amount at one go.

Depends on how much it is and whether or not I need it now or later.

I don't like buying things on installment because you end up paying a lot more than the full price. When I had to buy motorcycle, I saved up money for few months and bought one by paying full price and if I had bought it on installments, It would've cost around 35% more.

If it's 0% interest then I would rather pay in installment.

I try to pay in full, but on things like vehicles, i'm unable to do so.

I won't buy furniture or anything dealing with entertainment on installment though. Interest can eat your wallet.

I like to pay in full. I'm saving money for a new car now and I want to pay it in full

I don't usually buy things on installments because you have to pay lots more than the original price, I rather save money to buy whatever I want but the thing is I've never purchased something expensive yet so I could go for installments for a new car (maybe)
