Hello... lol thats a lame trick, and here is another The one if heard off recently... Where a webmaster pays a company in china or india or any other country and they have a room full of computers & people that will click your adsence ads or other ads. They cant seem to catch them because they have it set up so that each machine shows different IPs or use proxies which makes it impossible to track but the click is still valid and counts. Like the old saying goes... If theres a will... theres a way laterz malcolm
Yea those companies use open public proxy servers and rotate there IP addresses via dial up accounts. HTTP proxies are a dime a dozen, couple them with elite proxy switcher (firefox plugin) and you can do it all day long.
Oucha I guess you cant help but to feel sorry for those "advertisers" using adwords or any other PPC that get stroked because of a few jerk offs laterz malcolm
Sadly though click fraud is a big business and I wish there was a real way to stop it. It is more then just a few jerk offs, I have heard stories of entire office rooms full of people doing the clicking. Sucks though because I do not know of a way to how to prevent it from happening to any of my clients who use PPC.
There are still many people ot there make a lot of money by cheating system including click exchange where member click other's member ads.
When you think about it, If google would pay "by publisher country" or "the countries cost per click" rather then by "US cost per click" it would drastically drop or at least make it not so profitable to where they cant hire rooms full of people to click ads. thx malcolm
