I know that Goggle has made AdSense Manage Ads feature with a good intention that you don't have to regenerate and paste AdSense code every time you make a change BUT I think it really has serious problems! Sometimes It takes a very long to see your changes, AdSense says "Your AdSense unit has been saved. Changes may not appear for up to 10 minutes" but sometimes it takes much more time to apear. It's a bad thing especially when you add a new ad because what your visitors see in that time is an empty area instead of the ads! Really bad for your site look. I have made some changes to an AdSense for Search yesterday but until now, the status of in the Manage Ads page is New and the changes I've made didn't appear! This took forever before and I had to regenerate it again. You cannot delete an old ad! Google help says it's kept because you might need it afterwords, you can only hide it. If I need a deleted ad I could easily re-generate it! To make things worse, AdSense allows you to make a new ad with the same name that an old ad has! So after sometime, you end up with a lot of the confusing same name hidden ads that you cannot re-use. I think AdSense Manage Ads feature need some SERIOUS work, don't you think so?
No Adsense manager is fine compared to others.... And it will take more than 10 minutes if your site has little/no keywords..... It takes around 5 minutes on my site because spammed keywords You can't delete ads, but why would you want to? You can rename ads as well....
Google adsense is best available option for earning through sites. No other will give this much good results.
Google AdSense have largest amount of advertisers for sure. Google have really nice way to show your visitors nice and relevant advertisements on your sites, which may attract visitors to click on them and by that way you earn more money. AdSense Ad Management is good, you have all necessary options available to publish good ads on your site. Anyway, you can hide ads you don't want to see. You will wait up to 10 minutes because Google tries to collect your site keywords to find good and appropriate ads for your site.
I Know Google AdSense is the best and I love it! I'm just saying that their manage ads need some work. And my site has good keywords, I don't have psa. This lagging issue does not happen all the time but some time it's annoying.
I agree! And why would Google collect keywords again when I just want to remove borders from ads that have been there for a year! I understand this is necessary for new ads, not for updating existing ones.
I hate to disagree, but adsense is no where close to the best option. In fact i will go on record to say its probably the worst option for website owners.. You can earn much much more with alternatives to adsense such as digital downloads, merchandising, subscriptions, affiliate links etc etc. Basically, click on ur adsense ad, see what the end website is selling, sell that/become an affiliate for that. I know this thread wasnt the forum to discuss this, but just thought i'd let u know. about the adsense manager, i found it decent enough when i used to use it, but i did notice the blank space when new ads were created. To overcome that, there's an option to include an in-house url when no ads-public ads are to be displayed, give a url to a banner link and that will get displayed till your ads are ready.
