Do you believe in the Supernatural? (Ghosts, demons) Please answer.

Never seen an invisible ninja either, so I guess it's a toss up.

 

Ninjas are notoriously good at sneaking about... so is it not more likely that it was a ninja than a dead person from another dimension?

 

Sorry to disappoint, but we have more ghosts than ninjas out here in Kansas

 

no what you actually have is more vases falling over and people instantly attributing it to a dead a person from another dimension for no good reason.

 

I might need a new roommate soon if you want to come see for yourself. We could smoke pot and argue all day until the vases start falling.

 

Whenever people go "ghost hunting" the lights are generally turned off, Iv never really understood the purpose of this.. Well, it's because as mammals we have heightened senses in the dark which inherently makes any "activity" seem far bigger than it actually is, But that couldn't possibly be why it's done. I mean, These people are scientists, They have scientific devices which they use to measure "energies", of some sort or another, they aren't very specific (though as they generally use Gauss meters we have to assume ghosts emit some kind of electromagnetic field, like most things do). it's not like they would deliberately engineer the environment to take advantage of mammalian instincts and our inherent fear of the dark and use poorly understood scientific equipment to fabricate evidence. They wouldn't do that, would they?

See, most people don't understand what a Gauss meter is and don't understand electromagnetism. So when that little box that the "scientist" has goes "wooop!" and the needle moves they assume it's detected a ghost because, well, it is a "ghost detector", isn't it?

When i think of some of the shit adults believe these days and the amount of stuff they buy into i lose a lot of respect for us as a species. Good job there is a minority working on important stuff while the scientifically illiterate majority are off playing silly buggers in the woods with Gauss meters.

 

But how boring would this world be if we all thought the same and lived the same experience? Okay, I don't believe in ghosts but I value the fact others do. Makes for a good conversation & is really out-of-the-box.

 

well, yeah... & this comes from my personal experience of having met a friend, who had died a week ago!!
but thankfully, i never saw him again...

 

Ok so don't think I am truly nuts but when my daughter was 3 weeks old I was shooting a video of her, i was in my bedroom and if you look at my closet during the first minute you will see a hanger come off stay for in air for about 3 seconds and then fall to the floor. we have since moved..... don't like the idea of things moving my clothes and accesories... lol
Edit: I don't know if this is supernatural but now that my daughter is 2 years old she can tell you the phone is going to ring before it does and when friends pop over she will tell you "Bashar is coming" and what do you know a hour later he shows up with no notice.

 

Those shows are so fake man. You really think you're telling anyone something they don't know? I saw them nock over a dresser on purpose and didn't edit it out well enough. Pluse the meters they use go off from the electrical wiring in walls.

 

this is gonna sound like a lie, but I just had something really weird fall in my new house last night. Not 10 minutes after I was telling my gf about my dead friends. Probably something to do with physics, but maybe when you die you gain knowledge of all that stuff or something. Who knows, it just makes life more interesting for me, doesn't scare me at all.... well maybe once in a while

I really don't know what to believe for sure in these specific cases. I admit I already believe in shamans because it's in the O.T.

Just interesting, but I look at it scientifically first. I wasn't/am not looking, trust me lol. Just want to have a simple relaxing life.
