    few years ago i read a book, there is a trick called Indian Rope Trick, i was shocked, even for now people can't explain how could they done that, so, magic maybe exists.

    So, how do we define magic?

    Is it a card trick? No, it is simply illusion. All the stuff illusionists do is some kind of illusion that has an explanation.

    Is it a fireball as seen in fantastic games or movies? This is pure fiction. But fiction may come true if the technology advances that much as SEOTranslator mentioned above. Think about what would a person in 13th century think if he saw you with a cell phone?

    Or is it to control things, other people and invisible creatures? If so, then yes there is magic and although it is forbidden by God, some people learn and perform such things as Illuminated One mentioned above.

    I think you have to have some talent in that area in order to be successful at performing magic tricks. I also know that pretty much all of them are staged. At least that's what I hear. It is a "trick" after all..

    I think magic is not real if this is done by magician, coz they just use some tricky equipment to make their performance looks real. But, I agree with amel_soname, black magic is real
