Personally I dont believe in them but after hearing and seeing some people's stories I am almost persuaded to believe. Until I get some evidence or experience of my own though I will continue not to believe.
I saw a ghost when I was about 10 years old. I woke up and there was this person looking at me. He looked young and he was white and kinda shimmering like he wasn't there. I was pretty young so sometimes I doubt what I saw but I have a lot of friends who I trust who say they have had ghost encounters. I think ghosts hassle some people and some people they don't even bother at all.
i do believe that the ghosts and spirits are all around us. I am sure that there might be some ghosts here on DP too reading and replying to the post and making some hard $$$$
I am a bit of a sceptic myself, however, i'm not ruling out the idea of the paranormal. My mother does strongly believe in those things, and there have been a few unexplained things go on, so i guess my belief will take a bit of time to be determined
I have not seen a ghost yet, probably the ghosts do not like me. I am very fond of horror movies, liked the movie "1408", don't miss it.
I have never seen on in the "flesh" (so to speak). But I do have a very clear picture of the face of one. And before you ask, I had the picture and negatives checked out by professionals. It was not a double exposure and it was not caused by the lab that developed it since the face was quite clear on the negative. This was taken back in the early 70's so it could not have been photoshopped. I had also been experiencing many unusual things (loud raps, flies literally covering both picture windows in the familyroom etc...). No one event was major and each could have had a "normal" explanation but when you added the frequency of the events together with the photo and the history of the area, I believed. I won't try to persuade those who do not believe. but, I do feel sorry for them. If they cannot believe that that the soul continues after the vessel is gone, then your lives must be rather bleak.
I have never came across a ghost but since I was raised in a remote village of my country, our ancestors believed in them and we all do though we haven't seen them Infact there does occur various supernatural activities which are believed to be doings of Ghosts
I dont know about them coz I have never seen any...nor wish to see.. but my grandmother tells us many stories and also that she had seen some when she was young.
Aparanatly I used to see an old man at the end of my bed as a child, and we had to bring a priest in to get rid of him. Since then I'v always been interested in the idea of ghosts, but won't believe until I have any solid proof, which is very unlikely to happen!
