I definatly believe in fate, i guess you could say its my religion as im not a religious person as i dont belive in an almight being or such, but i do belive fate has a lot to play in our lifes. How we choose to deal with options and choices presented to us is finally down to us, but i believe it is fate that presents us these options in the first place. I have to say, i love everyones different oppinions on fate, shows what a diverse being we all are, it really intrigues me :)

In Greek mythology, the Fates were three. That is, there was often a "majority opinion" and a "minority opinion."
Much like the Biblical claim that when God closes a door, he always opens a window.
The question is, Does Fate believe in you?

well, as people keep saying about all beliefs... it's not what you believe, but why you believe it.

fate = the forces you have no control over

There are 6 billion other sentient beings on this Earth, each with their own agenda, as well as various natural forces. You can exert some influence over how things turn out for you. But so can events around you which are put in motion by forces outside your control. There are so many variables involved that nobody can hope to measure, predict and react 100% correctly to them. So, we take this large unknowable mass of causes and call their effect 'fate'.

I didn't believe in fate. But the fact is that few people can control their fate in the world. Now I'm becoming to believe in fate.

It's hard to believe in fate. I think things happen just because they happen. An example. The driver drives on a dry road and he's fine at that particular turn even if he flies at 70 mph, because the pavement is try. But he will probably crash going at the same speed if the road is wet. No fate, just physics.
