Do you believe that affiliate programs can generate money more quickly for you than google adsense ?

 

it depends, some people are earning better in affiliate and some will making better money on PPC advertising

 

It all really depends on who your audience is and how good of salesmen you can be. If you have a great product that fits your target audience and have tons of traffic, yes you could potentially make a lot more than adsense.

it depends in your effort , some people make huge cash from affiliate commission but some make cash from pay per click , it depends in your ability and selling power .

 

I agree,, very loaded question, you have to take into account all the things mentioned above, your niche, your adsense knowledge (ad placements etc.etc.) the product demand. In the past I use to ask similar questions but came to the realization that there are just too many variables. Just test test and test some more.

In my experience it depends on the Niche, as some people already said. You basically have three choices to link yourself into the internet value chain:

1. Adsense & other ad networks
2. Affiliate programs
3. Your own products

You can use ad networks on any niche, they will always produce money, but they will always give you the least amount of money (since they always lead to sites selling a product and getting a bigger cut).
You can find affiliate products for most niches through clickbank or CJ or sth similar. It's just a bigger effort you'll have to take since you'll have to optimize your site for that affiliate product.
Of course creating your own product would be the best option, but that takes time and money, and usually people don't have that.

So to sum up: Adsense is the quick fix, but you should always try to push affiliate products later if you think the amount of visitors to the site & conversion rates are sufficient.
