I've seen a lot of websites that review affiliate offers in different niches lately. Most of them rank offers like "our best choice" or "number 1 pick" etc... That got me thinking, so what I want to know is: Do you believe in the affiliate products that you promote? Have you even tried them yourself or fully understand what you are recommending? I know I am guilty of this on occasion. Which is why I rarely promote affiliate products anymore. What are your thoughts?
You should try them before you promote them, it gives you a better understanding, plus you can see if the product is good or bad. You would not want to promote crap products, this will give you a bad name.
Nope, I'm just in it for the money. But I'm ethical to the extent where I won't sell something that's detrimental to someones health or of the likes.
I prefer to promote things I've personally used. I've tried on occasion to promote ones I've never used and it's never felt right.
Sometimes i don't believe what they sold, just because the commission is big then i sell it.. haha...
I don't bother promoting anything I wouldn't buy myself. Life is too short to waste on crap. there are WAY too many good products out there to promote. Get away from Clickbank & the IM niche and start promoting real products that people actually want and buy on a regular basis.
I make sure I fully understand a product and it's target audience, and know that the product is high quality before I even think about promoting it. For me, repeat business and reputation is huge...
If you are a customer of the product which you like then you will find that promoting the product offer will come naturally and therefore you'll have more conversions and be more successful in the end this will drive repeat customers as well, since you have recommended quality products and now they trust you if you just blindly recommend product with fake reviews to make money you might get lucky and make a few sales, but it will be a small fraction of what you could be making with real quality products you have tried yourself jm2c
I don't try all the ones that I promote (I have tried some) but I judge by the amount of returns I get on a product. There are a few that I have sold many of with no returns (which leads me to believe that they are very decent) There were a couple that I promoted where I noticed more returns so I stopped promoting them. Definately don't want to promote a crap product- I want to make money but I also want to offer legit, decent products as well so I stop promoting it once I get returns and heavily promote the ones that seem to sell alot with no returns.
